Pennsylvania is one of seven jurisdictions found within the Chesapeake Bay watershed, with the Susquehanna River serving as its major tributary to the Chesapeake Bay. The Susquehanna is the Bay’s largest tributary, providing 50% of the fresh water that flows into the Bay. With most of Pennsylvania falling within the Chesapeake Bay watershed, there’s a variety of opportunities for recreation both on water and on land within the state.
